Medicine Cricket
Who Are We?
We are a cricket team of postgraduate researchers and staff from the Medical Sciences Division of the University of Oxford including NDM and RDM. We play in the annual departmental T20 tournament called the Jack Cox Memorial Trophy against other departments at the Balliol College sports ground. We also play some friendly evening T20 matches against local village clubs. Our fixtures and results can be found here.
2026: Medicine are the Jack Cox Cup winners!
The Jack Cox T20 departmental tournament started up again in 2025 (after 5 years of lying dormant).
The 2026 tournament included six departmental teams and ran from mid-May until late-July.
Medicine beat Maths/Rhodes House in the 2026 cup final.

We also usually play around 5 friendly fixtures per year against local teams.
